"Christ's Return and Israel"
Dr. Jacob Gartenhaus

1. There will be a second restoration in unbelief. It is a definite prophecy-Isaiah 11:10-13.
2. Great sorrow and suffering lies ahead for the Jewish people-Jer. 30:4-7, Dan. 12:1.
3. A great restoration of the twelve tribes will be seen across the world-Ez. 37:15-28.
4. A national repentance is coming, followed by the conversion of Israel-Zech. 12:10, 13:1.
5. Israel will send missionaries to the other nations of the world-Is. 25:6-9, Zech. 8:23, Ps. 98:1-3.
6. The Temple (Tabernacle of David) will be rebuilt in Jerusalem-Amos 9:11, Acts 15:14-17.
7. There will be a final restoration, from which Jews will not again be plucked up-Amos 9:14-15.
8. The Jews will dwell safely in the Promised Land, in peace and prosperity-Is. 14:13, 49:22-23.
9. A restoration comes and culminates in the return and reign of Messiah in Jerusalem-Is. 9:6-7.

(Excerpts from an article by Dr. Jacob Gartenhaus)
"…History records for us the methods used" to try to destroy the Jews "in the past."
"1. The Egyptians sought to drown them, but the waters of the Red Sea would not swallow them-Ex. 14:3-31.
2. The gallows of the Persians could not hang them-Esther 5:14, 7:9, 10.
3. The fiery furnace of the Babylonians would not burn them-Dan. 3:16-28.
4. The lions of the king would not devour them-Dan. 6:3-28.
5. The great fish could not digest them-Jonah 1:17, 2:10.
Thus we see, my friends, that the Jew was water-proof, hang-proof, fire-proof, lion proof and the great fish found him indigestible. Many methods have been employed to bring about the complete annihilation of the Jew, such as assimilation, the gas chamber, mass shootings, starvation, etc., but all of these methods have proved futile…
Can the Jew be destroyed? No, dear friends, we shall never be able to destroy the Jew. He is God-created, God-called, God-elected and God protected. God says, "Though I make a full end of all nations whither I have scattered thee, yet will I not make a full end of thee-Jer. 30:ll.'…
God is not through with His people. The Apostle Paul clearly declares, 'God hath not cast away his people, Israel, which he foreknew-Rom. 11:`1-2.' According to the Apostle, Israel not only had a glorious past, but will yet have a golden future when they acknowledge their Messiah. After this, they will carry His message to the ends of the earth."

With a potentially devastating open ethnic, political and religious based war between Israel and the radical terrorist Hamas revolutionaries just hours away in the narrow 33 mile long Gaza strip, supposedly neutral third-parties brokered by Egypt's govt. and the U. S. White House negotiated a temporary truce between Israel and the radical Hamas rebels. In all-out warfare, it was no secret that Israel would have virtually demolished, dismantled and destroyed all of Hamas' military capabilities.
From this writer's perspective, it appears as though Israel's Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was diplomatically pressured by the U. S. White House to make undesirable concessions to this violent based terrorist entity in exchange for American promises of military technology to defend itself.
While Israeli citizens were virtually silent about the truce, Hamas residents celebrated the cease-fire in the streets as a great victory celebration and with little wonder: In the cease fire, Hamas (a) retains some 12,000 rockets, all with murdering capabilities, (b) gains open borders that gives its free access to neighboring territories, while Israel's only written assurances are that there will be no supposed rocket firings and an unenforceable promise that Egypt would seek to restrain the weapons smuggling through its land.
Israel simply seeks the legal right to autonomy and freedom within its true borders, along with peaceful relations among all its neighbors, while Hamas continues to pursue the violent annihilation, extinction and destruction of Israel as a nation. In its 1988 Charter, Hamas "clearly stated their intentions": "Israel will exist and continue to exist until Islam will obliterate it, just like it obliterated others before it." "It strives to raise the banner of Allah over every inch of Palestine". Hamas is a wing of the Muslim Brotherhood.
Despite all satanic attempts and devious endeavors to destroy it, Israel will survive! However, as a nation, it will go through the intense opposition of the tribulation period, described as the "time of Jacob's trouble-Jer. 30:7." Just before the tribulation period concludes, all the nations of the world will oppose it-Zech. 13:3-and pour into its borders for the most bloody battle-Rev. 14:21-of all human history, the battle of Armageddon-Rev. 16:16.
In that awful conflict, two-thirds of all Jews will be killed-Zech. 13:8-9, but the believing remnant will accept Christ as their promised Messiah-Zech. 12:10 and Israel will be both physically spared and spiritually saved as a nation-Rom. 11:26-27.
Praise God, God's eternal covenant promises with the Jews concerning the Lord-Deut. 18:15-19 and the land-II Chron. 20:7-will someday be fulfilled. God keeps His Word!
