A RADICALLY BASED EVENT

"Five American religious organizations" hosted a "dinner" that honored Islamic Dictator Mahmoud Ahmadinejad on Sept.25, 2008 in NYC. The Mennonite Central Committee, Quakers, WCC, Religions for Peace and the American Friends Peace Committee co-sponsored the event deceitfully calling it an "international dialogue" and "conversation" about "the role of religions in tackling global challenges and building peaceful societies."

Abraham H. Foxman, Director of the Anti-Defamation League [ADL], called the dinner a "perversion of the search and an appalling betrayal of religious values." While this writer rarely defends the ADL, in this case, the ADL’s exposal of this despicable celebration was a massive understatement.

THE DEFIANT TYRANT

Iran’s ruler is a cruel despotic tyrant and a strong proponent and promoter of Islamic terrorist endeavors. It is a known fact that Iran is one of the major sources of evil terrorist manpower and dreaded weapons resources. Furthermore, Ahmadinejad continues to call for massive illicit unsavory action to "wipe Israel off the map. Iran’s dictator stated that even if Israel gave "land" to "Palestinians for a future state," it would never survive.

THE SATANIC BASED ASPIRATIONS

The WCC’s support of this wicked war-mongering ruler is not surprising due to its apostate left-wing pro-Marxist precepts and practices. The WCC’s condoning of this tyrant is similar to the United Nations Organization [UNO] which has issued nearly 500 resolutions condemning Israel in the past 60 years, but virtually none concerning the violent tactics of the terrorist bent Arab and Islamic states.

Speaking prophetically about the endeavors of nations who hate Israel and desire to annihilate it, the Scriptures in Ps. 83:2-4 declare that "thine enemies make a tumult: and they that hate thee have lifted up thy head. They have taken crafty counsel…They have said, come, and let us cut them off from being a nation; that the name of Israel may be no more in remembrance."

Jer. 31:35-37, however emphatically proclaims Israel’s eternal existence. Though this nation is presently in a state of unbelief, the day is coming at the conclusion of the Tribulation period when living Jews will "look upon whom they have pierced;" they will accept Christ as their Messiah and "all Israel shall be saved" (Rom. 11:25-27.)
